Educated at major research universities, Stephen Gilson, PhD and Elizabeth DePoy PhD are passionate about equality of access. To this passion, we bring our own backgrounds as disabled individuals, researchers, and disability studies scholars. This integration of personal and professional experience has brought us to the recognition that equality and social justice can only be achieved through informed, creative, and reflective solutions to the most intractable access barriers experienced by diverse population groups.
